Could you describe your job in short?

I work as an analyst in the banking and financial sector. Our firm provides our clients asset and liability management services and consultation. My responsibilities include reporting for banks (monthly net interest income and liquidity risk analysis, regulatory reporting, hedge accounting etc.) and consulting in various kind of business situations and projects.

What do you do on average work day?

The average day varies very much depending on the time of the month/year and what on-going projects there are. Quarterly there is a period of more routine reporting, and between these quarterly reports there are different projects and short-term consulting. For me this kind of many-sided job is well-suited since this way I am able to learn different things and the days are rarely boring.

What do you love about your job?

The versatility of the projects, keeping in touch with customers, the ability to provide proficiency consultation to improve the customers' business and the working atmosphere.

What are the worst parts of your job?

Sometimes projects can start quickly and it is difficult to plan beforehand what you are going to do next month.
